Far North is doing well overseas in Europe. It's still making its rounds through the film festivals though, so check out local film festivals near you.


In other news, Far North made it onto the UK Times Online 100 best films of 2007 list.


For those that are in the U.S:
Image Entertainment, Inc. a leading independent licensee, producer and distributor of home entertainment programming in North America, has acquired the North American distribution rights for Far North (Business Wire News).

Some of you have been craving some Michelle Krusiec news, so here's some images and a video of Michelle at a recent event for the ImaginAsian Center Opening back on December 01, 2007. (Okay... they are a little old but it's better than nothing.)

ImaginAsian Entertainment, the leading Asian American multi-media entertainment company, unveiled The ImaginAsian Center in downtown Los Angeles on December 1, 2007. The ImaginAsian Center, partnering with Cinema Properties Group, is the only film center in downtown Los Angeles dedicated to first-run Asian and Asian American films.

Opening Gala was hosted by Carrie Ann Inaba (ABC’s Dancing with the Stars) and Michelle Krusiec (ABC’s Dirty Sexy Money). Live performances by singers Tina Sugandh and Natalise, B-Boy dance crew champions Battle Monkeys, and celebrity turntablist, DJ Shy.

In movie news, the trailer for What Happened in Vegas is finally out. A high-definition version of the trailer is available at the movie's official website and a lower quality version is available at this Youtube link. Unfortunately, from what I can tell, Michelle doesn't appear in the trailer. :( Regardless, watch the trailer and tell Michelle what you think by commenting here!
The movie is slated for a May 8th, 2008 US release. Mark those calendars!
