I know it was a very slow build to the big reveal on the show this past week, but I have to give a big shout out to all of you who've been shouting out on the blog and in that little shout out box which i love to scroll in the middle of a restless night. I know some of you have been watching and asking what the hell is up with Mei-Ling Hua Darling. Who is she? She's a mystery. Well, you'll have to stay tuned because I had to take a breaky from the series to shoot "What Happens in Vegas," so lets see what the writers have in store for this darling of the clan.
And to answer some of your inquiries regarding Far North, Far North just premiered at the Pusan film festival, will be making its premiere next week at the London Film Festival, and is playing now at the Antalya film festival in Turkey. So, you may not catch it in theaters just yet, but if there's a major film festival near you CHECK IT OUT you never know when you might find something you've been wanting to see. I'll be sure to let you guys know when its due out in a theater near you.

Far North Info
Far North is on Celluloid Dreams' screening lists for the American Film Market (AFM, Oct 31 - Nov 7) and the Rome Film Festival Market (Oct 18 -27). Far North is currently looking for distributors. It has been sold in the following territories: Portugal, Greece, Turkey, Ex-Yugoslavia, Middle East, Bulgaria, Brazil, Colombia, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and India. The Chinese title of the film in Taiwan will be "Bei Guo Zui Yu Fa" (Crime and Punishment in the North).

Birthdays can be really suspenseful because you wonder...who amongst your friends actually remembered and will call? Since I'm terrible at remembering these things, I don't expect a single call. BUT if you have your own blog, you can take away some of the deadly suspense by just announcing to the world, that it's your birthday! Well, I wasn't looking for special wishes...but gee, I guess I'll take 'em anyway. Thanks Duong (I swear I didn't tell her to post it) and to all of you for thinking of me and for your happy thoughts. It means a lot that you would think of me and take a moment of your day to write me a little note.
I have been quite busy traveling between Los Angeles and New York. I've been working on "What Happens in Vegas" and I am delighted to report that I believe it will be another funny film with Ms. Cameron Diaz and I was pleased to be a part of it. Cameron is lovely lovely and I am a big fan of hers. Director, producers, cast and crew -- all were very warm and...energetic karoake singers!
LOTS of Birthday wishes for all October babies and Libras. May this next year be full of strawberry dreams and ice cream kisses!

Michelle's birthday is tomorrow! If you would like to wish her a happy birthday, please post comments in this post! Although she's been super busy after her big premiere at the Venice Film festival, she definitely reads each and every comment.
Also stay tuned for her guest appearances in Dirty Sexy Money, which airs every Wednesday at 10/9c.
Michelle has also joined the cast of "What Happens in Vegas..." starring Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher.
